Established in 1997, the ECOcafé continues to thrive and lead the way in today`s food service industry. The ECOcafé has built a solid reputation for innovation, quality, and leadership. The ECOcafé has also enjoyed widespread media attention across Canada, and won various awards. The ECOcafé continues to move forward within the food service community and within our own rural based community. The ECOcafé has worked with University students participating in mentorship's and internships, as well as school lunch programs, cooking classes, complimentary yoga classes, speaking engagements, volunteer programs, fundraising and a host of other programs, directly and indirectly.
After twelve years the ECOcafé is now ready to start ramping up its commitment to what it started out to do, to become 100% ecologically and socialably responsible. Timothy is proud to announce that the ECOcafé has now made a significant investment in assembling a team that shares his vision. This team includes some new faces at the helm as well as a very strong and loyal support team.
Over the next few months the ECOcafé team will be introducing new greening programs from front of the house to back of the house, new menus using recycled paper, a revamped and updated catering menu, a selection of new and interesting breads and desserts, all new organic lines of wines, beers and spirits. And that's just the stuff you see on the front line!
